Excited!!
Today was a good day. On the cold side... but MOSTLY sunny! So off for a short drive and mini hike. We ended up heading South and down by Tule Lake Cal. and the Lava Beds. 5 eagles, too many hawks to count, 1 coyote, a nice large heard of deer (approx. 20). Even got to witness two bucks spar. It was great. I plan on posting pics and video on here once I learn how. So in the meantime, you'll just have to imagine it. The sky was a beautiful blue and was somewhat covered in billowy white clouds with some light gray and then some VERY dark gray clouds. Great contrast in an even greater view of the miles of view we had. Yellows of winter fields dormant for the season, dark soil views of plowed and ready to plant fields, and even a beautiful, even out of place green field.
I am a bit sad at all the migratory birds I saw today. So many already heading back North. So I KNOW for the most part Winter is over. Lots of snow geese, Canadian geese, snow swans etc. Way to early to see them for me.
Came home and did some chores and then just relaxed with Larry in the living room.
I know not very exciting to read this, but I want/need to try and write something almost daily. I want this blog to work and thrive. Please leave comments in the comment section so I know you've stopped by.
Anyways, I'm very EXCITED for this blog and the journey you'll be able to take with me.
OK, Let me know if pics show up.... not sure if video will or not. The video is of the bucks sparring. will go ahead and upload that one to FB. (https://www.facebook.com/rhonda.hagen) click the link to see video's of today's eagles, sparring bucks and coyote.
